Through the sales of Battlefield Blue merchandise, Rotary Mindarie has been able to donate funds to the following mental health related services. These funds help provide local people with mental health support, as well as helping with PTSD research.
Sirens of Silence: Providing support to Emergency Service Personnel and helping remove the stigma surrounding mental health suffered by first responders. Founded by two WA based Paramedics.
PTSD Research Foundation: A Western Australian based research organisation looking into the factors, detection, cost management, recovery, and prevention of PTSD.
Black Swan Health (Headspace Joondalup): A support service providing help to young people (aged 12-25) who are suffering from mental health concerns.
Lifeline: A national service providing suicide prevention through 24-hour crisis support services.
Soldiers & Sirens: A service helping to address mental health challenges faced by those working in uniform (police, firefighters, paramedics, prison officers, veterans). Founded by two ex-WA Police Officers.
Buddy Up: An organisation helping current and former serving military and first responders connect with their local community through fitness, social activities, and volunteering.
