Current active projects
Paint Wanneroo REaD – books for children with RED reading boxes located in the community, to encourage children to read books and parents to read with children.
Battlefield Blue – support for Service & Frontline people coping with life pressures by fundraising through sales of badges, & branded merchandise to assist research & support organisations.
Peace Poles – arranging Peace Poles to be located in schools, early Learning Centres and Parks. As a symbol of peace, recipient organizations choose languages displaying the message “May Peace Prevail on Earth”. Currently located at Edgewater, Somerly and Yanchep Rise Primary Schools.
4 Way Test Speaking Competition – conducted annually by invitation to Year 6 and Year 10 students. Club heats occur in July, Semi Final in August, State Final in Sept. Subject matter student’s choice, but 4 Way Test must be embodied into speech. Adjudication based on Content, Delivery and integration of Rotary 4 Way Tests words and principles.
School Student Well Being – responding to the needs identified by local schools and Colleges, support is being provided with sourcing food, learning supplies and clothing.
